Week A

Stage 3

Daily Prayer

Jesus My Friend!

This is a special time of prayer and spending time with Jesus. Remember that Jesus loves you and is your friend. Let’s spend time talking to my friend Jesus.

Begin with the Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, breathing in and out three times

Then speak to your friend Jesus and tell him:

  • What would you like to thank him for today?

  • What is making you happy today?

  • What is making you sad today?

Conclude with the sign of the cross

Note: Please use the whole prayer or parts of it to suit your child’s age and needs.
