In your books create a list of the Feast days you recognise
Find the liturgical colour of the feast days in your list.
Activity too easy?
Use this site to help you locate the colours of each liturgical season and create a table. Use your colour pencils to record the colour of the following feast days.

Choose one of the statements on the 'Anticipation Guide' that you can relate to and explain your connection.

We are learning to measure lengths in centimetres and metres.
Success Criteria
I will know I am successful when I can:
estimate lengths using centimetres (cm) and metres (m)
measure accurately using a tape or a ruler
compare measurements and find the difference.

Long jump!
Can you jump as far as your height?
Estimate how far you think you can jump. Can you jump further than 1 metre?
Go outside and jump as far as you can from one spot to another.
Do this five times.
Measure and record your jumps in m and cm.
Show your results in a table.
What is the difference between your best jump and your worst jump?

Cut a piece of string, wool or a strip of paper one metre long. Start at one end and see how far along you can jump.

How close to your height can you jump?
If the longest jump in the world is 8.95 m, how close is your best jump?
