These learning activities are designed to be completed in sequence beginning on Monday

Daily Prayer

Caring for our Earth: a prayer for children!

Begin with the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, breathing in and out three times

Watch this video below!

Conclude with the sign of the cross.

Note: Please use the whole prayer or parts of it to suit your child’s age and needs.

  • What are the different words used to describe the bear in the story?

  • What are some other words that could be used to describe the bear?


Activity too easy?

  • Reread the story swapping some of the adjectives in the book for the ones you thought of. Do any of your adjectives make the story better or would you keep the author's adjectives? Explain your thinking.
