Daily Prayer

Thank you for my Life!

Begin with the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, breathing in and out three times

Complete this prayer:

Dear God,

Thank you for family.
Write down the names of all the family members that you want to thank God for.

Thank you for friends.
Write down the names of all the friends that you want to thank God for.

Thank you for each moment I play.
Write down your favourite games

Thank you for the food I eat.
Write down you favourite food

Thank you every day

Amen.

Conclude with the sign of the cross

Note: Please use the whole prayer or parts of it to suit your child’s age and needs.

  • For one of your sections see if you can represent the part of the story with no speech or thought bubbles. How will you communicate what is happening clearly only using pictures or sketches?
