  • can identify the church liturgical season of Advent

  • can connect feast days to liturgical seasons in Advent.

S3 demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of prayer as a means of recognising the centrality of God in our lives and as being expressed in special ways during liturgical feasts and seasons.

We are learning to respond to a text by retelling events from a different character’s viewpoint.

Success Criteria

  • Create an imaginative response which is told in the third person.

  • Include the character’s actions, feelings and inner thoughts.

  • Remember in your story to write as if you were there watching what is happening? What is Peter seeing, hearing, doing and feeling?

  • Write using the third person - using the names of your characters or personal pronouns when telling your story.
