Week B
Stage 1
These learning activities are designed to be completed in sequence beginning on Monday
Daily Prayer
My Covid-19 Prayer!
The last two years have been difficult as many people we love and care for have been sick with Covid. We hear so much about Covid in the news, in our families and at school. Let us spend some time in prayer to pray for all those who are sick with Covid.
Resources: Paper, pencil, colouring in pencils.
Begin with the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, breathing in and out three times
Write a prayer on a paper. In your prayer answer the following questions:
Who do I know have been affected by COVID? Write their names.
Write a small prayer asking God to help them so they can be better soon. Start the prayer with Dear God…
Draw a picture of a nurse, a doctor or anyone who is helping people who are sick with COVID.
Conclude with the sign of the cross
Note: Please use the whole prayer or parts of it to suit your child’s age and needs.
