Week B

Stage 4

These learning activities are designed to be completed in sequence beginning on Monday

Daily Prayer

Loving Father, I gather in Your presence.

I invite stillness into my heart.

May I breathe in Your peace and breathe out all stress and worry.

Holy Spirit, speak to me through this time in prayer so that the ear of my heart may understand God’s will.

Cherish and Challenge:

Cherish: Reflect on a time when your differences or uniqueness was celebrated by friends or family? How did that make you feel?

Challenge: What relationships in your life need work to build harmony? What can you personally do to achieve this?

God of peace,

You sent Your son as a bridge builder. Help us to build bridges where there is a divide or discord. May we witness Your face in each person we encounter. May we celebrate each person as a temple of Your spirit and build relationships on a foundation of united dignity, love and fraternity. We pray the Holy Spirit heals wounds and strengthens our bond with all of creation.

May the light of Your peace guide us in our relationships.

We pray this in the name of love, Jesus Christ,

Amen

If you are not sure about creating a biography which focuses solely on the individual who inspired the subject of your biography, you can compose the biography to focus on the achievements of the individual.

Activity too easy?

If you find this interesting, you could go to your library, or use SORA to find other biographies which may interest you. Biography is a popular and widely explored genre so you should find a subject to investigate fairly easily.
