Activity too hard?

  • Make a copy of the table from yesterday, and select five techniques you analysed.

  • Write your own words about Arianne Titmus using those five techniques you have selected from the work you have already completed.


Activity too easy?

  • Locate a NEWS report from the Olympics on Arianne Titmus’ successes.

  • What are the similarities in the language that is used between the article you have written today, and the one you have selected?

  • Have a go at writing a Letter to the Editor about whether you believe sports people in Australia are unjustly glorified for their achievements, or if they deserve the recognition they are given?
