Read the story ‘Australian media outlets unite to limit government secrecy’ and list four reasons why Australians have a right, or a ‘public interest’ to know what the government does

Activity too easy?

A freelance journalist has written a story and you, as the Editor, do not believe it is in the public interest of your audience to know about the story. Write an email to the journalist to explain why maintaining high standards of knowing what the public interest is, is an important role of yours as the Editor.
