We are learning to identify how Christians live and are inspired by the teachings of Jesus.

Success Criteria

I will know I am successful when I:

  • can identify ways that saints follow Jesus' example

S2 LC4 demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Christian life as living in accord with God’s commandments, making choices inspired by the teachings and example of Jesus.

You will need

The activity you choose will determine the equipment you need.


Show other people how they can live a saintly life. Choose your audience (who?) and your format (what?) from the list below.

  • Start by naming things that people do to live like Jesus. Ways that they are kind, welcoming, inclusive, generous, loving etc

  • can reflect on messages contained in images in a text

  • can create my own visual representation of an idea in a text.

  • Open the Google slides (on the right) and follow the written and audio prompts as you listen to the story and think about the text.

  • Complete Independent Reading as outlined on the slides.

  • List the colours you used to create your gumtree and explain why you choose these colours.




Learning Intention

We are learning to measure lengths.

Success Criteria

I will know I am successful when:

  • I can find more than one solution

  • I can record lengths in metres and centimetres

  • I can add lengths

Aligned to Mathematics outcomes

MA2-9MG measures, records, compares and estimates lengths, distances and perimeters in metres, centimetres and millimetres, and measures and compares temperatures.

Wrapping Ribbon 2

You have 20 m of ribbon to wrap 12 presents.

Some presents need more than a metre of ribbon and some need less than a metre.

What lengths will you cut so that you use as much of the 20 m as possible?

Record your ribbon lengths in m and cm.

  • What if each ribbon was 100cm long? How many could you cut from 20m?

Activity too easy?

  • Make a table to show your ribbon lengths in m, cm and mm.
