Learning Intention
We are learning to identify how Christians live and are inspired by the teachings of Jesus.

can recognise different types of service as ministries
S2 LC4 demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Christian life as living in accord with God’s commandments, making choices inspired by the teachings and example of Jesus.

Activity too hard?
Draw a line down the middle of a page. On one side, write what you know about saints and on the other side write what you are wondering about saints.
Activity too easy?
Create a Venn diagram with Carlo Acuti, other saints and yourself in the three circles.
Learning Intention
We are learning how some language devices are used by authors to enhance meaning and shape the reader's reaction.
I will know I am successful when I:
can explore and identify descriptive language the author has used and identify how it helped me to connect to the text
can think about what I am visualising as I read and how this helps me to understand the text.

Sit Spots
Imagine your teachers are working out sit spots for the grade when you gather together.
Each student needs a spot, and it will need to be arranged in an array if possible.
There are 96 children in the grade.
Use your multiplication facts to plan ALL the ways the teachers could arrange the spots into arrays.
Write the matching multiplication and division facts.
Activity too hard?
What if there were 6 spots in each row?
Activity too easy?
If 96 makes an array, which numbers do not make arrays? How do you know?
