Animals on the Farm

There were more than 6 cows on a farm.

How many cows are on your farm? How many legs, eyes and tails do they have altogether?

Find more than one solution by changing the number of cows on your farm.

Activity too hard?

  • There were 4 cows on the farm. How many legs, eyes and tails do they have?

  • Can you use something to represent the legs such as toy farm animals or pieces of spaghetti ?


Activity too easy?

  • There were more than 15 cows on the farm. How many cows are on your farm and how many legs, eyes and tails do they have?

Find more than one solution by changing the number of cows, without drawing all the animals.
